📍Flash back to last year when one of our club members engines underwent a full retube.

The tubes removed had seen the owner many years of service attending rallies up and down the country.🇬🇧

There are several methods of tube removal, the most common being either a slide hammer or a hydraulic puller, the owner in this instance opted for the least labour intensive option of the hydraulic puller.💪💪

Once the tubes were removed it allowed for a more detailed look inside the boiler which isnt always possible with the tubes in situ. 👀

After several cleaning operations inside the boiler, the tubes were machined to length prior installation.

The tubes were expanded at either end before undergoing a hydraulic test to prove their successful installation.

This will see now see the owner many years of future steaming 👍
